One Year On – How the Events Industry has had to Transform and Diversify

The events industry has had to adjust very rapidly since March 2020. One year has now passed and the way we deliver events or presentations has changed immensely, compared to how we were working one year ago. Wow, where has that year gone? To reminisce on how the market has adapted to the change in such a short space of time has been incredible. It is testament to this amazingly creative industry, we are all part of.

Diversifying is now the name of the game and even though there is a light at the end of the tunnel, it is all about adapting to a new normal and embracing the way forward. Whether it will be a 50:50 split between live, virtual or hybrid events – time will only tell. How companies decide to move forward to deliver their products and services to existing and prospective clients, as well as their workforce, remains to be seen.

Interesting times are ahead and those who are still part of this amazing industry will adapt and create the best events ever, however, these are delivered. We are resilient and robust and that is what makes the events industry stand out amongst the crowds. We support and encourage each other to be the best in what we do.
